(FiveNation.com)- Reports say that President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden escaped the cold of winter by going to the U.S. Virgin Islands, where they stayed at the home of a wealthy donor.
Air Force One landed late Tuesday night at Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix. The First Couple spent New Year’s Eve there, even though most of the country is still recovering from a vast Arctic blast and thousands of travelers are stuck because of cancelled flights.
The Bidens have traveled to the Caribbean island many times over the years. The weather forecast called for sun and temperatures between the low 70s and 80s Fahrenheit.
The White House told reporters the President and First Lady are staying at the home of their friends Bill and Connie Neville.
Reports say that Bill Neville is a tech executive and his wife Connie works for herself as a designer. The Bidens are not paying to stay at the villa, which has an in-ground pool and direct beach access. Their vacation comes just a few weeks after the Nevilles’ names were on a long list of celebrities invited to the president’s first state dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron on December 1.
Records from the Federal Election Commission show that Bill “William” Neville and Connie Neville from the Virgin Islands gave more than $10,000 to Biden for President and the Biden Victory Fund in 2020.
According to reports, Tom Fitton, the head of Judicial Watch, was worried about the possibility of corruption because of how the stay at the Nevilles’ villa was set up. The Conservative watchdog brought up the controversy over first son Hunter Biden’s business dealings abroad, which the White House has tried to distance the president from.
Fitton explained that Hunter’s laptop and other evidence show that Biden has used his public office to enrich himself in the past. So it’s not a surprise that Biden is getting a free luxury vacation from a wealthy donor who just happened to get tickets to a White House state dinner.
At the very least, the Bidens are grifters.
