(FiveNation.com)- According to a forthcoming book by a pair of New York Times writers, President Biden purportedly dubbed Rupert Murdoch, the owner of Fox News and a media tycoon, the “most dangerous man in the world.”
Biden sees Fox News as one of the most destructive forces in the United States, according to excerpts from Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns’ book “This Will Not Pass.”
The book claims that Fox News broadcasts a barrage of anti-Biden programming, inciting vaccination skepticism and promoting crazy conspiracy theories about the January 6 attack.
Biden has wrangled with Fox News reporters regularly since announcing his presidential candidacy. Questions about his son Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings, policy agenda, and verbal gaffes in the run-up to the election are not well-received. Biden prefers the softball questions he gets from journalists who are paid to back up left-wing governments.
Although the president has never publicly remarked on Murdoch, Biden has taken a few potshots at Fox. On a hot mic in January, Biden referred to Fox contributor Peter Doocy as a “stupid son of a bitch.”
During a CNN town hall in October, Biden joked that he occasionally watches Fox News to find out how popular he is. Tuning in, he will find that most of the network’s hosts regularly criticize him for lacking the cognitive abilities needed to lead the country.
Murdoch is a media mogul who is largely believed to be right-leaning. Fox News, the New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, and periodicals in the UK and Australia have a conservative inclination. His news channels are noted for their harsh criticism of Democratic administrations and lawmakers.
This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future, is due out in May. The book is advertised as a look into how Fox News has stoked anti-Biden sentiment, stoked vaccine skepticism, and spread wild conspiracy theories surrounding the January 6 attack.
The left often accused Fox News of serving as a mouthpiece for Donald Trump’s administration. Meanwhile, we’ve famously learned Joe Biden’s favorite flavor of ice cream, courtesy of the hard-hitting progressive media.
Trump was routinely accused of being mentally unsound, and left-leaning media outlets often brought up the 25th amendment. These are the same outlets that can watch Biden fall asleep while talking to a foreign dignitary and report that he was in deep thought.
