(FiveNation.com)- In what appears to be perhaps the worst instance of pandering to a minority community since Hillary Clinton claimed to carry hot sauce in her purse, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden took out his phone during a speech to Hispanic voters on Tuesday and played a Spanish sex song.
Biden was giving a speech in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month on Tuesday, and awkwardly fumbled with his phone and played the song over loudspeaker into the microphone. The move appears to be an attempt to connect with Hispanic voters and prove he…understands them? It didn’t work out quite like he planned, however.
“I just have one thing to say,” Biden said, as he looked down at his phone. “Hang on here.”
The former vice president then played “Despacito,” a song that was popular in 2017. It’s extremely graphic in terms of its lyrics, too. It’s not clear what Biden meant by playing it, or whether he even knew what the lyrics meant in English. If he did know their meaning in English, perhaps he wouldn’t have played it…because some of them seem to be creepily similar to Biden’s weird behavior with women.
“I want to breathe in your neck slowly, let me murmur things in your ear,” the song starts.
There’s quite a lot of footage of Biden doing precisely that to many young women over the years.
“I want to undress you in kisses slowly, firmly in the walls of your labyrinth. And of your body, I want to create a manuscript, up, up, up, up, I want to see your hair dance, I want to be your rhythm,” it continues.
Not only was it inappropriate, but it was slammed as “beyond patronizing” by former Republican congressional candidate Catalina Lauf.
“In general, this is beyond patronizing,” she said. “But are we surprised he picked the song with the title ‘Slowly?’ Really embodies the whole theme of his campaign,” she added.
Journalist Dania Alexandrino also criticized the move, sarcastically suggesting that playing a sexual song is “really going to convince Latinos!”
And even left-wing activists attacked Biden over it. Activist Sema Hernandez said, “I love that song, but when Biden plays it I think back to the very credible story of Tara Reade recounting the sexual abuse she suffered while working for Biden.”

“It’s really disturbing. Make it stop.”
Yes, precisely. Please, please just make Biden stop!
