Tucker Carlson Exposes Mitt Romney

(FiveNation.com)- Following Mitt Romney’s announcement on Monday that he will vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, effectively ensuring that Vice President Joe Biden’s nominee will be confirmed, Tucker Carlson pointed out that Romney opposed Jackson being elevated to a lesser court just a year ago, asking, “What changed?”
Romney has done a “historic flip” by endorsing the same candidate for a seat on the DC appeals court that he voted against last year.
Tucker Carlson noted that this is less than a year ago, this is June of 2021, and Mitt Romney voted against Ketanji Brown Jackson’s appointment to the DC Circuit Court of Appeals. He didn’t think she was qualified. This Thursday, he indicated that he would vote for the same individual to be confirmed to the Supreme Court.
She was unqualified for a lower court but is the perfect choice for the Supreme Court. How does that work? Tucker asked.
The Fox host theorized that now that she is in the mainstream, Romney’s vote is also, and this is what it took for Mitt Romney to finally back Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Carlson asked sarcastically if Romney only learned in the process of confirmation hearings that she gave lenient sentences to child pornographers. This critical information wasn’t uncovered when she was confirmed as a circuit judge?
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, a Republican, went one step farther than Carlson, calling Romney and other senators that have shown support for Jackson “pro-pedophiles” and offering a link to a thread detailing Jackson’s record of leniency for child predators.
Greene was incensed that Republican scrutinization of Jackson’s history of low penalties for child porn offenders is characterized as some kind of batshit conspiracy theory coming from QAnon.
She tweeted:

“Any Senator voting to confirm #KJB is pro-pedophile just like she is.

There are MANY more qualified black women judges, that actually can define what a woman is, but Biden chose the one that protects evil child predators.

And then Romney, Murkowski, and Collins vote for her.”
