(FiveNation.com)- In a speech at the White House Conference on American History on Thursday, President Donald Trump announced the creation of the new “1776 Commission” which will aim to stop left-wing indoctrination in American schools and promote patriotic education. It comes at a time when far-left activists are encouraging the teaching of Critical Race Theory, a Marxist doctrine that divides America down racial lines, in schools and universities.
“Our mission is to defend the legacy of America’s founding, the virtue of America’s heroes, and the nobility of the American character,” President Donald Trump said at the National Archives Museum. “We must clear away the twisted web of lies in our schools and classrooms, and teach our children the magnificent truth about our country. We want our sons and daughters to know that they are the citizens of the most exceptional nation in the history of the world.”
The statement is one that resonates with millions of American patriots, but incredibly, it prompted a furious backlash online from Biden supporters and left-wing extremists. The hashtag #HitlerYouth began trending on Twitter soon after the president made the announcement. Democrats suggesting that it is neo-Nazism to promote American history in the classroom just says so much about the modern Democrats.
Among the hashtag campaign were suggestions that if the president wins re-election in November, he would establish concentration camps. No joke, it happened.

“We are here today to declare that we will never submit to tyranny. We will reclaim our history and our country for citizens of every race, color, religion, and creed,” President Trump said in his speech.
“The left has warped, distorted, and defiled the American story with deceptions, falsehoods, and lies. There is no better example than the New York Times’ totally discredited 1619 Project. This project rewrites American history to teach our children that we were founded on the principle of oppression, not freedom,” he added.
President Trump also said that students in universities are “inundated with critical race theory” and gave the example of a document published by the Smithsonian Institution that said that rational thinking, the nuclear family, and hard work were not values that unite Americans but “aspects of ‘whiteness.’”
The president also announced that he would sign an Executive Order “establishing a national commission to promote patriotic education.”
The new 1776 Commission will encourage educators to teach children about “the miracle of American history.” President Trump also announced plans to honor the 250th anniversary of America’s founding.
