Trump Considers Removing Goodyear Tires from “The Beast”

( President Donald Trump is considering removing Goodyear tires from “The Beast,” the world-famous presidential limousine that is designed to withstand bullets, fire, explosions, and more. President Trump suggested he was open to removing the company’s tires from the vehicle during a press conference, in which he discussed political bias in the company.

“Well, I’m not happy with Goodyear because what they’re doing is playing politics,” he said. “And the funny thing is the people that work for Goodyear – I can guarantee you I poll very well with all of those great workers in Goodyear.”

Goodyear was recently forced to issue a statement defending themselves after leaked audio revealed how managers within the company told employees that they could not wear Make America Great Again merchandise or any other accessories that display conservative messages. It was not an attempt at stopping employees being political, however, as no comments were made about the wearing of Black Lives Matter of LGBT slogans.

“And when they say that you can’t have ‘Blue Lives Matter,’ you can’t show a blue line, you can’t wear a MAGA hat, but you can have other things that are Marxist in nature, there’s something wrong with the top of Goodyear,” the president said. “And what the radical left does is they make it impossible for people to do business if they’re Republican or if they’re conservative. They put out all sorts of effort, ‘Don’t shop there.’ They do vicious things, not so different than what you saw on the streets of Portland two nights ago.”

President Trump received a great deal of criticism for initial comments he made following the Goodyear revelations. The president said it’s time for Republicans to play the same game as the left and start boycotting Goodyear so they would stop playing politics.

During the press conference, the president said that he “wouldn’t recommend” people buying tires from Goodyear, but suggested that the company could resolve the issue entirely by stopping the political bias. He said that if Goodyear wants to stop people wearing “Blue Lives Matter” badges then it is a “terrible thing.”

When asked if he would take the tires off the presidential limousine, Trump said, “Yeah, I would do that.”

“I would, I would swap them out, based on what I heard. We’ll see what happens,” President Trump added. “Hey, look, you’re going to have a lot of people not wanting to buy that product anymore, and they’ll buy from a competitor – made in the USA, too.”
