Trump Admin., Once Again, Condemns Capitol Violence

(FiveNation.com)- The Trump administration showed Democrats how it’s done this week, condemning the violence on Capitol Hill several times in a way that the left simply couldn’t muster when Biden voters were burning down American cities in 2020.

After President Donald Trump published several messages on social media urging people to stay peaceful, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany gave a press conference in the White House briefing room in which she condemned the violence in no uncertain terms.

“We grieve for the loss of life and those injured,” McEnany said. “What we saw yesterday was a group of violent rioters undermining the legitimate First Amendment rights of the many thousands who came to peacefully have their voices heard in the nation’s capital.”

The briefing came before President Donald Trump published a short speech on Twitter, once again condemning the attacks and calling for Americans to come together and unite.

“The violence we saw yesterday at our nation’s Capitol was appalling, reprehensible and antithetical to the American way,” McEnany said in the briefing. “We condemn it, the president and this administration, in the strongest possible terms.”

Can you imagine the Democrats condemning violence on their side in such a strong and decisive way? Senator Kamala Harris dismissed the 2020 violence and arson in major American cities as “peaceful protests” and even promoted a bail fund for violent extremists who were arrested during those riots.

“Those who violently besieged our Capitol are the opposite of everything this administration stands for,” McEnany insisted. “The core value of our administration is the idea that all citizens have the right to live in safety, peace and freedom.”

Again, why couldn’t the Democrats say this when their voters were burning down a black-owned business district in Kenosha?

President Donald Trump called for peace repeatedly on Twitter, publishing a video before the White House press briefing. That video, however, was removed by Twitter for…some reason.

Media outlets have repeated the lie that President Trump encouraged the violence in Capitol Hill, while Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are once again calling for impeachment.

At what point can Democrats admit their attacks against President Trump are not just hypocritical, but total character assassination?
