After testifying in the criminal trial that resulted in Donald Trump’s conviction for 34 felony charges, adult film star Stormy Daniels raised over $1 million to assist with her relocation to a safe house and the repayment of her legal bills.
The revenue is coming from a GoFundMe account that was set up by the Triple-X actor’s former manager and friend, Dwayne Crawford.
Stephanie A. Gregory Clifford, Stormy Daniels’ real name, made an appearance on MSNBC and spoke about how, since Trump is running for reelection, his supporters have harassed and threatened her online, threatening to assault or kill her and her family.
Because she’s allegedly been the target of “countless death threats” following the reading of the guilty decision on May 30, the donations will be used to relocate her family to a safe location. The security of her loved ones and their pets, especially her twice-shot horses, has been jeopardized ever since her home location became public knowledge.
According to Crawford, Trump continues to embroil her in legal battles in an attempt to drain her bank account, knowing full well that his cult of followers will cover the costs.
Stormy allegedly had an extramarital affair with Donald Trump ten years before he won the presidency in 2016. In exchange for her silence, Trump reportedly paid her $130,000. The prosecution claimed that the money paid to Daniels was misclassified as legal fees; with Daniels’s evidence, they were able to convict Trump in a state courtroom in New York. Anti-Trump “cultists” have paid over 1 million dollars to reward her for her story.
Michael Avenatti, Daniels’s ex-attorney who is now in prison for bilking her and other clients, was one of the critics who spoke up. He wrote on X, calling Daniels’ fundraising effort a “GoFundMe grift” and calling the allegations of threats against her “total bulls**t,” adding that Trump did not personally issue them. Avenatti has his enemies who believe he is trying to get a pardon from Trump in the event that he is re-elected in November. Some X users have voiced this accusation.
