Star Frankie Muniz Disgusted by Los Angeles, Calls it a ‘Hellhole’

Former child star Frankie Muniz is the latest celebrity to blast the current state of Hollywood, criticizing the Democrat-run city upon landing at the airport and calling it a “hell hole.”

On Tuesday, Sept. 10, Muniz posted on social media that he had just landed in Los Angeles and that he was “already disgusted” by it after 23 minutes of being there, referring to the city as a “hell hole.” The 38-year-Malcolm in the Middle star did not give any more context to his remark or what he found “disgusting” about the Democrat-run city, although it is well-known that it has been experiencing a rising crime wave over the last few years that’s resulted in many moving out of the area.

Actress Ana de Armas is one of the celebrities who fled Los Angeles, moving to Vermont to create a home “off the grid” and “get away” from the world’s “craziness.” She described her new dwelling as her “cocoon” and a place to collect herself.

Not even money can protect celebrities anymore, who have been hit with an onslaught of break-ins and burglaries on their expensive estates. Last month, the home of Tom Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, was burglarized in broad daylight. A few days prior, actress Sarah Hyland caught two burglaries wearing masks who broke into her home in LA. Kat von D, the well-known tattoo artist, left LA for Indiana after her home was broken into while she and her son were asleep. Comedian Steve-O also seems to have grown tired of Hollywood, putting his LA home up for sale and moving to Tennessee.

It’s not just break-ins and theft, but also murder. Actor Johnny Wactor, who starred on the television show General Hospital, was fatally shot in May during a case of grand theft auto. Two women were also attacked in the neighborhood of Venice Canals around the same time, leaving one of them hospitalized and braindead.

It’s not just LA either, but all major cities in California are experiencing alarming crime rates. On Friday, Sept. 13, Elon Musk closed the official headquarters for X (formerly Twitter) in San Francisco, citing rising crime and the overly-liberal legislation of Gov. Gavin Newsom as his main reasons for doing so. The billionaire will reopen the headquarters in Texas.
