Sean Hannity Presses Anthony Weiner For Changes After Illicit Photo Scandal

( In an interview with disgraced former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner, Fox News host Sean Hannity asked if spending time in prison for sending sexually explicit pictures of himself to a minor has changed him.

Weiner appeared on Hannity to promote his new radio program, “The Left vs. The Right” on WABC Radio which he cohosts with his friend, Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa.

He told Hannity it was impossible to go through the kind of experience he went through without being changed by it.

Calling Weiner’s answer “obscure,” a contentious Hannity clarified his question, asking Weiner now that he’s trying to draw a large audience, would he assure people whether or not he has had a change of heart because “they’re going to want to know.”

But Weiner hit back saying he wasn’t trying to persuade Hannity or anyone else one way or the other, saying “they can judge for themselves.” He pointed out that he was doing a call-in radio show, so people are more than welcome to call his show and ask him questions.

He told Hannity that the point of his radio show isn’t to make someone like me or persuade anyone to have a specific opinion of him. Instead, it’s to have conversations about things happening in New York City. Hopefully, Weiner added, people will want to tune in, “but I’m not terribly interested in trying to make them feel any differently about me.”

Hannity scoffed at Weiner’s response. He told the disgraced Congressman he expected more “sincerity” and a more “heartfelt” and “repentant” response, prompting Weiner to hit back, “I don’t know what to tell you.”

Weiner, who is still on probation, was convicted in 2017 of one count of transmitting obscene material to a minor after sending sexually explicit pictures of himself to a 15-year-old girl. He spent 18 months behind bars.
