Ron DeSantis Snaps Back At “Child Abuse” Claims

(FiveNation.com)- After Florida Governor Ron DeSantis held a bill-signing ceremony on Friday for the Stop the Wrongs to Our Kids and Employees Act (Stop WOKE Act), MSNBC’s resident race monger Joy Reid decided to take a swing at Ron DeSantis by targeting some black kids who attended the ceremony.

And, boy, did Joy Reid pick the wrong kids to target.

Reid shared an image of a group of children holding up signs that had CRT covered with a red circle/slash, and suggested that the “mis-use of Black boys is tantamount to child abuse.” Reid blathered on, demanding to know the “back-story” on how those black children “wound up at a DeSantis event.” Claiming Ron DeSantis is “anti-Black,” Reid says his “using Black children this way is extra sick.”

Reid also claimed that a “trusted source” told her that the children were not part of the Miami Urban League community service non-profit and called on journalists to investigate.

What a horrible creature this woman is.

The governor’s masterful spokeswoman Christina Pushaw slammed Reid on Twitter and dismissed her absurd claims. Pushaw said that she was involved in preparations for the event and every child there knew exactly what the event was about.

But because this is Joy Reid, she wouldn’t let it go. She tweeted on Saturday that she had it on good authority that the black kids DeSantis used as “props” were from a Miami charter school and the children “may not have known in advance why they were there.” Reid said she wouldn’t name the school to protect it from “MAGA harassment/threats.”

But Reid may come to regret her inflammatory, dishonest comments.

The boys in question were brought there by former NFL player Jack Brewer. They are students who participate in an after-school program for fatherless boys that is run by the Jack Brewer Foundation.

On Monday, Brewer blasted Reid and demanded that she apologize for her remarks. He said he was speaking with his attorneys and would be sending Reid a letter giving her 24 hours to issue an apology or face a defamation lawsuit.

Tuesday evening, Brewer appeared on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to discuss Reid’s bigoted, defamatory remarks.
