(FiveNation.com)- Last Monday, Dr. Anthony Fauci announced that he would retire from his position at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases after a half-century as a government bureaucrat.
And during his remarks at a Florida Republican Party “Keep Florida Free” event in Seminole County last Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis didn’t hold back when he told the crowd exactly what he thought of Fauci.
DeSantis noted that he heard Fauci was retiring and said he was sick of the guy. He added that “someone needs to grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac!”

Unsurprisingly, the media was apoplectic with rage.
Fauci remains one of the American corporate media’s sacred cows. Nobody is permitted to even criticize the diminutive government drone, let alone call him an elf and suggest chucking him across the Potomac.
It’s incitement, they cried, clutching their pearls in unison.
This is precisely why the media is terrified Ron DeSantis will run for president in 2024. They know they can’t shame him into silence because any attacks they launch on him roll off the guy like he’s been Scotch-Guarded.
