(FiveNation.com)- On Monday, the Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, stated “no way” that his state will ever approve the worldwide pandemic treaty proposed by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The Governor said that a lot of these elites advocate very pernicious policies. He noted that part of why people want to move to Florida is because “we rejected those policies.”
Locking kids out of school is something he would never do.
The comments made by DeSantis come after it was reported that the World Health Organization is lobbying for the ratification of a “global pandemic treaty.” Joe Biden supports it.
This “global pandemic treaty” would give the W.H.O. tremendous increases in power and funding, transferring much of the authority for pandemic control from member nations to the U.N. agency.
At the next World Health Assembly, the modifications to the IHR and the new “global pandemic treaty” will be discussed.
Critics are concerned about the loss of national sovereignty to a multinational organization that did not distinguish itself during the Wuhan coronavirus epidemic. Those who support this initiative argue that it is essential to enhance pandemic response efforts worldwide.
The existing requirement that the W.H.O. “consult with and attempt to obtain verification from the State Party in whose territory the event is allegedly occurring” is eliminated by the amendments to the IHR proposed by the Biden administration. Every subsequent reference in the IHR to conferring with the appropriate state party is also removed, providing the director of the WHO the effective ability to proclaim outbreaks on their own.
Critics have warned that this would result in a tremendous consolidation of power among the most powerful globalists.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) made it very plain over the weekend that the United States “must never allow Biden to utilize a ‘Pandemic Treaty’ to surrender power over American public health choices to the corrupt WHO.”
