(FiveNation.com)- During a campaign event in Olathe, Kansas last Sunday, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis set the crowd on fire while blasting the Biden administration’s open borders policies and the ongoing crisis at the border.
DeSantis was appearing at a rally hosted by Turning Point Action in support of Republican gubernatorial candidate, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt.
During his speech, DeSantis brought the crowd to its feet when he brought up the meltdown caused by his flying 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard the previous week. He blasted the Biden administration’s crisis at the border and noted that now the crisis is “getting a little more attention.”
The Florida Republican marveled at the over-the-top reaction to only 50 illegal aliens, noting that this sanctuary city didn’t give them jobs or set them up with housing but instead, “called out the National Guard” and deported them “the very next day.”
