Rand Paul’s Wife Takes On CNN After Evidence Reveals Rand Was Right About Fauci

(FiveNation.com)- CNN so-called “news anchor” Brianna Keilear has doubled down on her decision to brand Republican Senator Rand Paul an “ass” for questioning National Institute of Virology and Infectious Diseases chief Dr. Anthony Fauci on the funding of gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China.

After Rand Paul grilled Fauci on the topic, exposing how the National Institutes of Health gave money to EcoHealth Alliance, only for hundreds of thousands of dollars of that money to be used on virus research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Keilar attacked Paul for a “WWE” approach.

What, should Dr. Fauci be treated differently for some reason?

“Nothing brings out Senator Paul’s propensity to act like an ass like a congressional appearance by Fauci,” she said in a tweet.

And instead of apologizing and recognizing that senators have a duty to hold people to account – especially people who appear to be lying before Congress – Keilar doubled down and absolutely refused to apologize.

“He’s at it again,” she wrote on Twitter on May 11. “Rand Paul trolls Dr. Fauci ahead of his congressional hearing. Not surprising, since Paul approaches these like WWE matches. But instead of titillating a witting audience, he blows disinformation all over them.”

And since then, it’s turned out that Dr. Rand Paul was right – Dr. Anthony Fauci wasn’t telling the truth.

A letter published recently from a top NIH official revealed that Fauci was, at least, wrong about the matter. The NIH did in fact fund gain-of-function research in Wuhan. And Rand Paul’s wife hit back.

While Rand was demanding transparency from Fauci, she said, “lowbrow hacks like @brikeilarcnn responded by calling Rand an a** on air.”

She asked… “have any comments now, Gayla and Brianna?”

And Brianna responded by saying she stands by her characterization, even though she was proven wrong.

It seems that never admitting you are wrong is a prerequisite to working at CNN.
