(FiveNation.com)- Everyone knew there was something off about the guys behind the anti-Trump Lincoln Group, but who knew it was…child grooming?
An incredible story broke over the weekend relating to the conduct of Never Trumper and Lincoln Project co-founder Joe Weaver, who was recently exposed for sexually harassing men online. Weaver has already admitted to harassing a number of grown men and apologized for his actions, but a new report by the New York Times reveals how some 21 men have accused Weaver, with the youngest victim being only 14 years old.
Conservative commentator Ryan Girdusky first broke the story last month, but Maggie Astor of the New York Times claims to have spoken to a victim who was only 14 years old when Weaver first started contacting him.
“21 men told me John Weaver, a Lincoln Project cofounder, sent them inappropriate messages, including explicit offers of professional help in exchange for sex,” Astor revealed.
Allegations became public this month in @amconmag and an open letter from @GarrettHerrin, one of the men Weaver messaged. My and @dannyhakim‘s reporting shows how widespread the harassment was — 21 men came forward within days — and how aggressive it got. https://t.co/agnfQZubW5

“His solicitations included sending messages to a 14-year-old, asking questions about his body while he was still in high school and then more pointed ones after he turned 18,” the New York Times report explained.
The report also revealed a disturbing message from the anti-Trump “conservative,” in which he promised to “give advice, counsel, help you with bills” in return for the victim helping him “sensually.”
The Lincoln Project was finally forced to admit that Weaver had done something wrong, and released a statement on January 31 describing Weaver’s actions as “deplorable and predatory.”

“We are disgusted and outraged that someone in a position of power and trust would use it for these means.”
Ryan Girdusky, who broke the story, also claimed on January 31 that the Lincoln Project knew about Weaver’s behavior before the story broke.
“Several young men told me that they spoke to several members, friends told me others knew about my article and were worried…they knew and did nothing, he claimed.”
This is why @ProjectLincoln‘s claim that they didn’t know is all bullshit.

Will President Joe Biden, whose “victory” in November 2020 was helped by the Lincoln Group, now condemn them?
