Mary Trump Says Kamala Harris ‘Terrifies’ Ex-President

Donald Trump’s estranged niece, Mary Trump, has said that Kamala Harris frightens the former President to the point of incoherence. Vice President Harris has enjoyed a massive swell of support since President Biden withdrew from the contest, breaking donation records by raising $100 million in 36 hours and winning endorsement from prominent Democratic figures. Writing in her Substack blog, Mary Trump said her uncle “hates” strong women and will have a difficult time competing against her. She pointed out that Mr. Trump has nicknamed the Vice President “Laffin Kamala” because he does not understand the joy she frequently exhibits.

Ms. Trump has long criticized her powerful relative. In a book entitled “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” she described him as a narcissist with a weak ego “that must be bolstered every moment.”

In her explosive book, Mary Trump also claimed that Donald Trump paid a friend to take his university entrance exams because he worried he would not measure up. She also claimed he had issues with women, particularly those who rejected his romantic advances. Ms. Trump wrote that, in her opinion, her uncle struggled with self-confidence because of an overbearing father, Fred Trump Sr. “Fred perverted his son’s perception of the world and damaged his ability to live in it,” she wrote.

Mary Trump is the daughter of Fred Trump Jr., who died from an alcohol-related illness when she was 16.

In her recent Substack remarks, the former President’s niece suggested that Harris’s previous career as a prosecutor would “freak him out” the most. She added that Mr. Trump suddenly finds himself on the receiving end of the attacks he leveled at President Biden, mainly that he is too old to see out a second term in the White House.

In recent social media posts, Mr. Trump has come out fighting against Harris, calling her a liar who “destroys everything she touches.”
