Kevin McCarthy Reportedly Drove A Republican Colleague To Tears

(FiveNation.com)- Two recent book excerpts depict Kevin McCarthy allegedly snapping and under intense strain as a result of the consequences of the January 6th Capitol riot.

According to reports, the next book by Robert Draper of the far-left activist New York Times Magazine, Weapons of Mass Delusion: When the Republican Party Lost Its Mind, was previewed by another far-left publication. In a chapter titled “The Enabler,” the book covers the phone call when McCarthy asked Trump to put an end to rioters.

The book’s excerpt claims that President Trump told McCarthy by phone before 3 pm on January 6 that he guessed the rioters were more upset about the election than McCarthy was. McCarthy yelled back that they were trying to ‘F-ing trying to kill’ him (McCarthy).

Sure. Whatever.

A far-left publication claims “Republican sources” had discussed the alleged rage between Trump and McCarthy during their phone call on January 6.  According to a different story from the recent book, McCarthy was furious with a Republican colleague who told the media about their phone call.

McCarthy allegedly made Rep. Jaime Herrera-Beutler (R-WA) cry as he yelled at her for telling the media about the Trump call, according to excerpts from Unchecked: The Untold Story Behind Congress’s Botched Impeachments of Donald Trump. Herrera-Beutler allegedly responded to McCarthy by asking what did he want her to do? Lie? She did what she thought was right.

In a joint statement, McCarthy and Herrera-Beutler refuted the tale, claiming it was inaccurate and dramatized to fit an on-screen adaptation rather than an official record. The statement noted that they were the only people in the room for the conversation. Therefore they know it was wrong.

According to reports, the writers claim they had “sources” confirm their findings, and they will stand by their story.

Of course they will stand by their story. Because that’s what it is—a story.
