(FiveNation.com)- Wildly unpopular Vice President Kamala Harris was forced to admit on Friday that inflation is actually happening after all, after months of Democrats playing down the phenomena and even claiming that it wasn’t real.
Harris acknowledged that inflation is a “big deal” for most Americans, and said that the Biden administration is taking the problem “very seriously.”
Well, why did the Biden administration allow this to happen in the first place?
Harris, whose approval ratings slipped to a shocking low of 28%, was asked about the recent surge in consumer prices, which have increased at the quickest annual pace for over 30 years.
“Prices have gone up and families and individuals are dealing with the realities of the bread costs more, the gas costs more, and have to understand what that means,” she admitted. “That’s about the cost of living going up. That’s about having to stress and stretch limited resources.”
Didn’t President Donald Trump warn that this is exactly what would happen if the Democrats took charge?
Harris admitted that the cost was a “source of stress for families,” but didn’t offer any specifics on how exactly the Biden administration aims to solve the problem.
On the topic of supply chain bottlenecks, which is one of the reasons why prices are going up, Harris said that the administration is trying to get the labor unions to open up and extend the hours at ports, but it’s unclear how long it will take for the federal government to get labor unions on board with the idea.
It’s not looking good for the Biden administration, is it?
It’s not looking good for the American people, either…
