JD Vance Warns Europe Is Committing Suicide With Mass Immigration Policy

Vice President JD Vance has sparked international controversy by simply recognizing the fact that Europe is committing suicide by continuing with its mass immigration project. Vance specifically suggested the policy would result in “civilizational suicide,” and the people committing the suicide have since lost their minds about it.

Europe’s Open Border Crisis

In a recent interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Vice President JD Vance warned that European countries are facing existential threats to their cultural identity and sovereignty. He specifically targeted immigration policies that have allowed unprecedented numbers of migrants to enter European nations without proper controls.

Vance didn’t hold back when discussing the consequences of these policies, particularly for Germany, which received 25% of all EU asylum applications in the first half of 2024.

“Germany will have killed itself, and I hope they don’t do that because I love Germany, and I want Germany to thrive,” Vance stated bluntly during the interview.

The Vice President connected Europe’s border crisis to similar challenges the Trump administration has been addressing at America’s southern border.

Threats to Free Speech and Democratic Values

Beyond immigration concerns, Vance highlighted what he sees as dangerous restrictions on free speech throughout Europe. The Vice President criticized European authorities for limiting citizens’ ability to express opposition to immigration policies, even as those same citizens are voting for leaders who promise border security.

“You see them starting to limit the free speech of their own citizens even as those citizens are protesting against things like the border invasion that got [US President] Donald Trump and a number of European leaders elected,” Vance observed.

His comments come after he made similar suggestions at the Munich Security Conference where he identified internal threats to liberties as more dangerous than external threats from nations like Russia or China. And he caused just as much controversy then, too.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer rejected Vance’s characterization, responding: “Well, we’ve had free speech for a very, very long time in the United Kingdom and it will last for a very, very long time.”

A Call to Preserve Western Civilization

Despite his criticisms, Vance emphasized his desire for strong transatlantic partnerships based on shared cultural heritage.

He spoke passionately about Europe’s historical significance to American identity, stating: “The entire idea of Christian civilization that led to the founding of the United States of America was formed in Europe.”

The Vice President’s comments reflect a consistent theme from the Trump administration that Western values must be defended against globalist ideologies.

“I want Europe to thrive. I want them to be an important ally. Part of that is going to be Europe respecting its own people, respecting its own sovereignty, and America can’t do that job for them,” Vance concluded.

Which is exactly the opposite of what the mainstream media is suggesting he said…
