(FiveNation.com)- The hardline theocratic president of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, and the socialist leader of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, recently inked a cooperation deal that will last for twenty years.
According to a report by the Associated Press, this new arrangement came just one day after Maduro commended the Islamic Republic of Iran for supplying desperately needed fuel to Venezuela despite sanctions imposed by the United States.
It was stated by official Iranian media that Maduro showered admiration upon Iran’s efforts to send fuel tankers to support his country. The praise occurred during an interview after Maduro landed in Tehran for a two-day visit.
According to Maduro, Tehran’s oil delivery to Caracas was a big help to the Venezuelan people. Caracas is the capital city of Venezuela.
This entire episode seems bizarre. Iran is supplying oil to Venezuela, which, according to many different estimations, has some of the most significant oil reserves anywhere in the world.
This is when authoritarian socialists and fanatical religious leaders seize control of countries with a lot of money. While the general people go hungry, the leaders continue to rack up the wealth.
The agreement gives both countries’ security of food and energy top priority. Iran will assist Venezuela in rebuilding its oil industry, which has been gravely harmed by the unilateral US sanctions.
While doing so, Venezuela will expand its ability to produce food and ship it to Iran. Only 30% of Iran’s land is used for food production due to its desert terrain, which makes up 70% of its total area. On the other side, there are more than 30 million hectares of arable land in Venezuela. The Venezuelan president emphasized that Iran has developed a method to generate food in arid places. He said that cooperation in technology would allow Venezuela to improve its domestic food production and produce food for sale to Iran and Asian nations.
It should be mentioned that this is not the first time Iran and Venezuela have collaborated. Obama collaborated with these dictatorships, all working together to undermine the United States.
