(FiveNation.com)- Ilhan Omar has a habit of saying wild things, but her claim that her life is being put at risk by an Israeli group is perhaps one of the most egregiously incorrect and divisive things she has said in a while.
And that’s saying something.
Far-left Rep. Omar’s office is under fire after she claimed that ads, which exposed her comments comparing the United States and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban, are putting her life at risk.
The comment drew worldwide attention. Omar had posted a clip of herself on the Twitter post in which she questioned United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken about how people who commit human rights abuses, including Israel, Hamas, and the Taliban, will be held accountable.
It was flagrantly anti-Semitic and a clear attempt at comparing Israel to murderous terrorists, and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee didn’t stand back and just let her get away with it.
Also known as AIPAC, the group began running a new ad campaign that directly quotes what she said and exposes the many attacks she has made in the past against Israel and the United States.

According to a report by Fox News, Omar’s office is furious, with her spokesman wrongly claiming that the ads were “Islamophobic.”
If her attempts to compare Israel to terrorist organizations were not anti-Semitic, then how can Omar claim that this ad is Islamophobic?
What kind of logic is that?
Her office claimed that the language used in the ads is “identical to the language used in death threats she gets,” and that the ads are only designed to “smear” her.
There is a word for this: “gaslighting.”
