Facebook Hiring Developers to Target Kids as Young as 6

(FiveNation.com)- Social media giant Facebook has reportedly spent time hiring tech developers recently to make new social media products designed for users as young as six years old.

It’s just the latest example of Facebook growing its reach across the tech industry and increasing the number of users committed to its ecosystem.

James Steyer, the CEO of Common Sense Media, told NBC News this week that both Facebook and Instagram – two social media brands under Mark Zuckerberg’s “Meta” brand – have shown that they “can’t be trusted when it comes to the well-being of children and teens.”

And it’s true. Facebook regularly shares far-left posts by extremists who say that children should change their gender with life-altering drugs, but that’s not what Steyer is talking about. Instead, he parroted the usual line that Facebook should focus on “cleaning up” the existing platform before trying to bring in more kids…which seemed like a dig about the platform not censoring conservatives quite enough.

In a blog post, Facebook announced that they are “making a major investment in youth” and that they now have a cross-company virtual team working to make the online experience “safer” and “more private” for them.

In what universe should a six-year-old child be on the Internet?

Some diagrams published on the blog showed how social media products will be specifically aimed towards children between the ages of 6 and 9, and then tweens between the ages of 20 and 12, and then other services will be advertised to teens between 13 and 15, and 16 and 17.

‘These five age groups can be used to define education, transparency, controls, and defaults that will meet the needs of young users,” the blog explains.

It’s time to start being even more vigilant about your children using the Internet…

They might just get indoctrinated by radical leftists online.
