Elon Musk Goes After Canada’s Unjust Mandates

(FiveNation.com)- Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of Tesla and SpaceX, was unafraid in his criticism of controversial Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his decision to mock and deride the truck convoy protesters who have brought much of Canada’s supply chain to a halt.

The “Freedom Convoy” protesters consist of truckers from across Canada who are demanding that the government lift COVID-19 restrictions and vaccine mandates. Their brave stand puts them in legal jeopardy but has won them support from all over the world – but Prime Minister Trudeau chose to label them as a “fringe minority.”

They’re not, and Elon Musk knows they’re not.

Responding to a tweet that showed a huge crowd of people supporting the protest in Ottawa, Musk suggested that the so-called “fringe minority” is “actually the government.

On Wednesday, Trudeau offered remarks about the protesters. He refused to even consider the possibility that his approach to COVID has been wrong or that it is hurting the people who make his country function, instead branding their views as “unacceptable” and wrongly claiming that they represent a “small fringe minority.”

However, with tens of thousands of truckers out on the streets and opposing COVID-19 restrictions, Trudeau is wrong on both fronts. Canadians don’t think their views are unacceptable, and they are not a small fringe.

In follow up tweets, Musk noted that if the government truly had the mandate of the people, there would be a significant counter-protest.

But there isn’t.
