Video of a woman’s drunken confrontation with a man in a vehicle on July 4th has gone viral. It’s simple to understand why; it’s pretty satisfying to witness the woman—who shouldn’t be behind the wheel—get quick justice for her aggressive and erratic behavior.
We do not see what happens before the altercation; instead, we observe the truck idling in traffic as a woman in a little Hyundai sedan arrives and begins to shout. The guy, not at all afraid of the road rager, lowers his window to ask what the woman’s problem is.
After explaining that her car has precious cargo (she claims her occupant is an 82-year-old man), the lady accuses the truck driver of being very aggressive.
However, the male motorist, amazed, tells her he’s been driving behind her, and she’s been all over the road. Viewers of the video are starting to realize that the woman is drunk.
The woman gets out of her car to continue arguing with the man, but she leaves it in the drive. Her Hyundai rolls down the road as she acts belligerently, striking an aggressive pose- she then asks who the stupid one is.
While the man attempts to warn her, she finally realizes her car, carting the previously precious old man, is heading toward an SUV. She tries to hop in the car, but she rolls into the SUV and gets wedged in the closing door.
The video cuts off before we can see how she manages to extricate herself from her self-imposed dilemma.
We do see the aftermath, though. She is seen standing at the SUV’s driver’s window, engaged in a heated discussion.
She’s fortunate not to have been injured, with many feeling her “instant karma” moment wasn’t “enough karma.”
The moral of the story?
Don’t drink and drive.
