(FiveNation.com)- More than six months before the COVID pandemic swept out of China, Dr. Anthony Fauci sat down for an interview on the David Rubenstein Show. During this May 22, 2019 interview Rubenstein discussed with Dr. Fauci infectious diseases, vaccines, and measures people can take to prevent getting sick.
Rubenstein, asking Fauci what was the best way to prevent getting an infectious disease, asked him if people should be wearing a mask.
A chuckling Fauci answered, “No, no, no!”
Fauci told Rubenstein that people should “avoid all the paranoid aspects” and instead do something positive – namely, staying healthy. He suggested a healthy diet, not smoking, not drinking to excess, getting exercise, and a good night’s sleep.

So before he realized fearmongering is a great way to fame and fortune, Dr. “Wear a Mask at all times” believed wearing a mask to avoid getting sick is paranoid.
How the worm has turned.
Even after the COVID pandemic began, Fauci was still dismissive of mask-wearing.
During a March 2020 interview with 60 Minutes, Dr. Fauci admitted that mask-wearing “might make people feel a little better” but it won’t provide the “perfect protection” people think. On top of that, people wearing masks are more likely to fiddle with their mask, ultimately touching their face too much. Instead, Fauci explained, masks should be for healthcare providers, not the general public.
Hopefully Dr. Fauci did some stretches before he flip-flopped this hard.
Now this man who laughed off the notion of masks as paranoid is a full-throated supporter of everyone – even children as young as two – being forced behind a mask.
In New York State, Governor Kathy Hochul has ordered a mask mandate for everyone in state licensed childcare facilities. And the results have been shocking to say the least.
This video of a childcare worker battling a small toddler over his mask went viral on social media, and with good reason. This is nothing short of child abuse.

Paranoia is now the order of the day. This childcare worker is so deeply paranoid of a virus, which children that age have only an infinitesimal chance of catching, that she turned into a monster and terrorized a small child.
This is what Dr. Anthony Fauci has wrought.
