(FiveNation.com)- During his latest in a long string of appearances on the Sunday shows, media darling Anthony Fauci said the quiet part out loud.
During an interview on ABC’s “This Week,” Fauci admitted requiring proof of vaccination for domestic air travel isn’t about science, instead, it’s just one more way to force people into getting vaccinated. And any tactic that pushes people into a corner so they have no choice but to get the vaccine is a welcome idea.
“Anything that could get people more vaccinated would be welcome,” Dr. Anthony Fauci says when asked by @jonkarl about potential vaccine requirements for domestic air travel. https://t.co/CxSdhhlI9G pic.twitter.com/KHVeu6nmTH

This is how arrogant Fauci has become. He no longer feels the need to pretend he cares about science or public health. He is so enamored with his fame and celebrity, he thinks he can brazenly admit that this is all about coercion and control.
And as he always does, Fauci had to come back on TV to “clarify” his remarks.
Appearing on CNN’s “The Situation Room” with fill-in host Jim Acosta on Monday, Fauci said people shouldn’t expect the government to require proof of vaccination for domestic flights.
When Acosta asked about Fauci’s Sunday remarks, Fauci tried to “clarify” what he was saying, explaining just because he suggested proof vaccination for domestic flights doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. Fauci said he was asked a question and he gave an honest answer. Yes, it is being considered, “but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.”
But as with most of Fauci’s declarations, he added a caveat.
Fauci said that right now, no such requirement for domestic travel is going to be done. But, he added, nothing is off the table. “We always keep things open for consideration.”
Acosta asked if Fauci’s position conflicted with the rest of the White House COVID team, but he flatly denied it, saying that it isn’t a question of whether or not he favors the move. It’s that he favors keeping the country safe. And if the situation changes and the White House thinks requiring vaccines for domestic flights has to be done, “we’ll do it.”
If only someone could find Fauci’s OFF button.
