Donald Trump Reveals He Won’t Disclose His 2024 Plans Because Of Campaign Finance Law

(FiveNation.com)- Former President Donald Trump is almost certainly running to retake the White House in 2024…but campaign finance laws are restricting him from doing so.

During an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News, he was prompted once again to answer whether or not he plans to run again in 2024. However, he refused to offer a specific answer, instead opting to promise that his supporters will be “very happy” with the decision he eventually makes.

Trump added that the current campaign finance laws are “antiquated and stupid” and that they’re even “corrupt in a way,” saying that they do not allow him to answer the question.

It’s not the first time he’s said this, either. Just a few days earlier during an interview with Sean Hannity, Trump said that current campaign finance laws mean it’s difficult for him to make a formal announcement about whether or not he intends to run for office again.

Now is a good time for the former president to be talking about a fresh run for the White House. President Joe Biden’s approval ratings are plummeting even in friendly polls, and Democrat-supporting media outlets have destroyed him over the failed withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

Combined with the fact that July saw more than 200,000 illegal aliens apprehended at the southern border, inflation, and rising oil prices, a lot of people are likely looking back at the Trump era and wishing they’d cast a vote for him and not for Joe Biden.

Trump said that the American people “see this man who is president destroying our country” and that the U.S. was energy independent just six months ago – a striking difference to now, when President Joe Biden is begging OPEC to produce more oil to make it cheaper, and the cartel simply responded, “no.”

It looks like Trump really might be running in 2024. And we’re only a year or two away from an official announcement.

Let’s wait until the midterms…
