(FiveNation.com)- President Donald Trump once again fueled speculation that he intends to run for president again in 2024, but also suggested that the Republicans might take back the White House a little sooner than that.
It follows reports from the left-wing press that President Trump was telling associates in private that he expects to be installed back into the White House as president as soon as August. Though, those reports were smacked down by Trump’s daughter in law, Lara Trump, who said she hadn’t heard him say anything of the sort.
During a speech to the North Carolina Republican Party on Saturday, the former president said that Republicans are going to take back the Senate, the House, and the “White House sooner than you think.”
Trump said that he thinks what the Republicans are about to achieve will be “something special” and that the Republican Party is “stronger than it’s ever been,” but that it will be a lot stronger very soon.
It’s unclear what exactly the former president means when he says that, and his comments are very much open to interpretation. It could be that the president is saying that the Republicans will take back Congress in 2022 and the White House in 2024, which is “sooner” than some think given that the Democrats currently lead all three branches of government.
It could also mean that President Trump believes that the ongoing forensic audits of the election results in battleground states like Arizona is likely to have some impact on the legitimacy of the Biden administration.
The ongoing audit in Arizona, for instance, is expected to conclude within the next two to three weeks, and it is widely speculated that the audit will reveal discrepancies and evidence of fraud that throw doubt on the legitimacy of the state’s election results.
“We’re going to turn it around,” Trump added in his speech.

Could the former president know something that we don’t?
