After being trapped in the dryer vent of his home on November 30th, a dog named Spike from South Carolina found himself in a tough spot.
According to the Sumter Police Department, Spike was sniffing out trouble when he became trapped in the home’s dryer vent.
The Police Department stated in a post on social media that at two o’clock in the afternoon, police got the report of a dog that was trapped. The call came from a woman who was looking after Spike.
According to her statement, her grandson was the owner of the inquisitive dog.
When the authorities from the police and fire department arrived at the odd sight, they saw Spike’s shy face protruding from the house.
Spike was found with his head out of the house, but the remainder of his body was inside, according to the officers who responded to the scene. Spike managed to pop his head through the dryer vent.
The authorities successfully expanded the dryer vent’s entrance so that the dog could be brought back inside as a result.
During the course of the struggle, it took a little more than an hour to rescue Spike, according to the grandmother, who expressed her gratitude to the rescuers for their excellent work.
