(FiveNation.com)- During an appearance on MSNBC last week, Democrat Congressman Tim Ryan said that “we” must “kill and confront” the “extremist” movement in the Republican Party.
In an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” last Tuesday, the Ohio Democrat Senate candidate was asked what message he would send to Republican voters in his state who might be considering voting for him instead of his Republican challenger, J.D. Vance.
Ryan claimed to be “one of the most bipartisan members of Congress” (he votes with Biden 100 percent of the time) and claimed he wanted to “work across the aisle.” He said he was willing to “have conversations” with the opposing party and find ways to “fix all of these broken systems.”
He claimed these conversations will involve Republicans who are “not the extremists that we are dealing with every single day.” Then Ryan added, “we’ve got to kill and confront that movement by working with normal, mainstream Republicans.”

Of course by “normal, mainstream Republicans,” Tim Ryan means “Republicans who agree with the radical positions of the Democrat Party.”
Unsurprisingly, Ryan’s “kill and confront” rhetoric set off a firestorm of criticism, especially coming so closely on the heels of President Biden’s vitriolic speech in Philadelphia earlier in the month.
On Wednesday, Republican challenger J.D. Vance slammed Ryan for his rhetoric and his extremist positions:
🔥🔥🔥
"He's just a complete fraud. On every single issue he has voted with Joe Biden and yet he pretends in his TV commercials that he actually thinks exactly the opposite…The people of Ohio are wise and smart and they're not going to buy lying fraud Tim Ryan." – @JDVance1 pic.twitter.com/kfRvkodAo1

Ryan quickly responded to the Hannity interview, claiming on Twitter that J.D. Vance was attacking him “for defending the brave officers who protected our nation on January 6.”
Really?
Telling “Morning Joe” that we have to “kill and confront that movement by working with normal, mainstream Republicans” was defending the police?
Not only is Tim Ryan a shameless liar, but he is a bad liar as well.
