Clarence Thomas Failing To Note Wife’s Incoming Takes Spotlight From Media

(FiveNation.com)- The leftists are after U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, after Clarence reportedly failed to report his spouse’s income.

The issue arose as Ginni is slated to speak to the partisan January 6 committee about her work in the 2020 election after it was revealed that she sent messages to then former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and two Republican representatives about appointed new slates of electors. Ginni Thomas’ lawyer said that she agreed to a “voluntary meeting” with the committee.

“As she has said from the outset, Mrs. Thomas is eager to answer the Committee’s questions to clear up any misconceptions about her work relating to the 2020 election,” Paoletta said.

Ginni Thomas, a lawayer and conservative activist, was paid $686,589 by the conservative Heritage Foundation from 2003 to 2007, but her husband had failed to report the income in financial disclosures as is required by law for federal judges. It was reported back in 2011 that Thomas had checked a box saying “none” for a disclosure asking about “spousal noninvestment income.”

Thomas reportedly amended “13 years’ worth of disclosure reports to include details of Ginni Thomas’ sources of income,” showing that “she had worked for the Heritage Foundation as well as Hillsdale College in Michigan and the House Republican leadership, among others,” according to Newsweek. But as she is set to speak with the House of Representatives about her work in the 2020 election, the failure emerged once again into a chorus of leftist rage against the conservative Supreme Court Justice.

“Ginni Thomas made almost $700,000 from the far-right Heritage Foundation from 2003 to 2007,” tweeted attorney Tristan Snell on Tuesday. “Clarence Thomas had to fill out a standard form listing his ‘spouse noninvestment income.’ He put zero.”

The “far-left” so-called non-partisan organization that purports to “protect democracy” tweeted that it was dedicated to calling out Ginni Thomas “until we have an ethical Supreme Court.”
