(FiveNation.com)- Alex Jones, a popular conspiracy theorist, has convinced himself that former President Barack Obama was a covert supporter of his work who liked and cared for him.
On Sunday, during an interview that was broadcast on the podcast Human Events Daily, Jones disclosed that he had had a visit from CIA agents back when Barack Obama was in the White House.
He said that In the last two years of Obama’s administration, they sent a high-level CIA guy to meet with him, and he said, ‘Listen, Obama likes you. He cares about you. Just stop attacking him.”
Jones took the care to explain that he was not bragging about this. He was merely reporting the facts.
The Info Wars owner then dropped Elon Musk’s name, as well.
Jones went on to say, “this is not about me.”
“You asked the Elon Musk question. I can’t say everything at this point but when you actually get told directly by these people — and I’ll leave it at that — when you directly have dinner with these people — and I’m not going to say Elon Musk, but I’ll just leave it at that — and they tell you to your face, ‘No, we know you’re right.”
Jones said he observed and thought that this was the next level.
He said that he was not getting directions from anybody. Many of these high-level folks reached out to him in the previous two years.
In 2016, Obama made fun of Jones after the conspiracy theorist claimed that the then-president was a sulfur-smelling demon.
“Imagine how bad Hillary smells, man,” Jones said on his radio show. “I’m told her and Obama just stink, stink, stink, stink. You can’t wash that evil off, man. I’m told there’s a rotten smell around Hillary. I’m not kidding, people say – folks, I’ve been told this by high up folks. They say listen, Obama and Hillary both smell like sulfur. I never said this, because the media will go crazy with it, but I’ve talked to people that are in protective details – they’re scared of her. And they say listen, she’s a frickin demon and she stinks, and so does Obama. I go, like what? Sulfur. They smell like Hell.”
At the time, Obama took the opportunity at a rally to settle the issue.
“I was reading the other day. There’s a guy on the radio who apparently said me and Hillary are demons, said we smell like sulfur. Ain’t that something?” Obama joked at a Clinton rally in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Then Obama took a whiff of his arm and said, “Now, I mean, come on, people!”
The real question is, why would Jones even want Obama to like him?
