Chuck Schumer Slams 74 Million Americans Who Voted For “Racist” And “Vile” Trump

( Donald Trump got a lot of grief for being “mean.” The media was endlessly clutching its pearls and wailing over mean old Orange Man who insulted cable news personalities, Hollywood actors, professional athletes and politicians with wild abandon.

But one thing President Trump never, ever did was attack or insult the American people. He always directed his attacks at the powerful. In Leftist parlance, Donald Trump never “punched down.”

The same can’t be said for the cable news personalities, Hollywood actors, professional athletes and politicians Trump insulted. They almost always attack the American people – calling Americans “racist,” “white supremacists,” “domestic terrorists,” “stupid,” “uneducated,” and, of course “deplorable.”

And during a recent event with Roosevelt Island and Upper East Side community leaders in New York, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer added his voice to those who endlessly attack the American people.

Schumer decided to rail against the 74 million Americans who voted to re-elect Donald Trump in 2020, pretending to marvel how anyone could vote for a “despicable,” “racist” and “vile” man like Trump.

And, as was the case when Hillary Clinton called Trump supporters “deplorable,” Schumer’s audience approved of his message.

The irony of Schumer accusing Trump of dividing people and appealing to the “dark side of human nature” while he stood before an audience saying divisive things about Trump voters while appealing to his audience’s hatred for Donald Trump is something to behold.

Then again, self-awareness is in short supply among Democrat politicians.

President Trump may have been very direct in his attacks. But he never turned his attacks toward regular Americans. Even after Hillary Clinton called Trump supporters “deplorable” and dubbed them “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic,” Trump hit back at her, not at her voters.

He called Hillary Clinton “such a nasty woman.” He didn’t say, “You’d have to be a nasty woman to vote for Hillary.”

The ease with which the Left and the Democrats slander and demean Americans is stunning. They have no qualms about “punching down.”

That the sitting Senate Majority Leader thinks so little about the very people he supposedly serves is perverse. But the fact that virtually every other member of the Democrat party does the same is unconscionable.
