Biden Tells Reporter You Must Keep Attacking Trump For Nation To “Heal”

(FiveNation.com)- President Joe Biden never really understood the definition of the word “healing.” That was obvious when he claimed during his presidential campaign that he would heal America, and he made it clear once again on Thursday after journalists asked him why he continues to smear former President Donald Trump.

After a controversial address on the first anniversary of the January 6 riot in Washington, D.C., reporter Nikole Killion from CBS News asked the president if calling out former President Donald Trump divides more than it heals, before reminding the president of just how much he has talked about healing the nation.

Biden, who looked visibly surprised that a member of the press asked him a tough question for once, then claimed that healing requites recognizing the “extent of the wound.”

“You can’t pretend, this is serious stuff,” he said, before attacking people who he claims would rather not “face it.”

“You’ve got to face it, that’s what great nations do, they face the truth,” Biden said.

If that’s the case, why did Vice President Kamala Harris compare the riot in D.C. to the September 11 terror attacks and the attack on Pearl Harbor? They were nothing alike.

Biden’s January 6 speech attacked the former president, wrongly claiming that he “created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election.” Biden had nothing to say about the Maricopa County ballot audit in Arizona that found tens of thousands of potentially problematic votes in that one region alone.

Biden then claimed that Trump “values power over principle.”

Does that sound like “healing” to you? It doesn’t sound like healing to us – especially when poll after poll shows that in a hypothetical re-match, Biden would lose badly to former President Donald Trump.
