Biden Now Claims He DIDN’T Call For National Mask Mandate, Video Proves Otherwise

( Remember when Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden called for a national mask mandate? Well, apparently he doesn’t. On Wednesday, Biden walked back the policy proposal and said that instead of would use the office of the president to “put pressure” on states to implement mandates and encourage businesses to require them too.

Biden, when asked if he had advocated or does advocate a national mask mandate, said, “No, no.” The former vice president then said he would “ask every person in authority” to impose one instead.

The reason? Well, it seems that Biden has finally realized that the office of the president can’t do absolutely everything.

“I’m a constitutionalist,” he said in a speech. “You can’t do things the Constitution doesn’t allow you the power to do.”

You can see him walking back the comments in the video below, but there are other videos that prove him wrong.

Do you think Biden forgot what he said, or he realized it was a dumb proposal and is now trying to avoid losing voters?

In the video above, you’ll see Biden talking in August about how he would implement a national mandate on “day one” of his administration. Apart from the fact that he has pledged to deliver several other things on day one of his administration – that could be a very busy day – the video is shocking to watch now because he’s blatantly saying he didn’t say it. When he did.

On day one, he said, “we will have a national mandate to wear a mask. Not as a burden, but as a patriotic duty to protect one another.”

So which statement is right? And when will Biden change his mind again?

Biden also said during his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, “Let’s institute a mask mandate nationwide.”

“Every single American should be wearing a mask when they are outside for the next three months at a minimum,” he said.

Well, if it happens, at least Biden won’t be affected by it much. He’ll presumably be in the White House basement.
