(FiveNation.com)- Jill Biden, the woman most of the country has probably forgotten is technically the First Lady by now, has been out on the campaign trail trying to help the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Virginia win the seat on November 2’s off-year election.
Biden campaigned with the Democrats last Friday not just in Virginia but also in New Jersey, telling reporters that the election will “set a course for a year from now.”
She was, of course, talking about the 2022 midterm elections. The midterm elections that, as it stands, the Democrats have absolutely no chance of winning.
Jill Biden spoke at an early voting event in Middlesex College in Edison, New Jersey – a common scheme by the Democrats. They really love making people turn up before the actual voting day, or casting their vote by mail, where the chain of custody is more easily broken.
“We can’t get complacent. We have to get to work,” the First Lady vaguely said on a stage in New Jersey, with “It’s My Life” being played in the background.
Biden also spent time in a suburban part of Richmond, Virginia, campaigning with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, a former governor running to take the position.
Democrats are desperate to increase turnout in the off-year election, when some people may not realize an election is taking place.
It’s the first time that Jill Biden has been on the campaign trail since she was out campaigning for her husband, and offering support when he forgot his words during interviews, during the 2020 campaign.
