(FiveNation.com)- Sam Vigil, an Angel Husband whose wife is believed to have been murdered by an illegal immigrant, spoke on the third night of the Republican National Convention and thanked President Trump for taking action to get justice for victims like him. During his speech, Vigil said that “Operation Legend,” initiated by the Trump administration, helped find the suspected illegal alien killer of his wife Jaqueline.
Vigil told the tragic story of how his wife was murdered in the driveway of their home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, when preparing to travel to the gym. The murder was totally random. Jacqueline worked at a daycare center and was the mother of two New Mexico police officers.

It took eight months of investigations, Vigil said, only for no suspects to be identified. He explained how the region in which he lives has become one of the most dangerous places in the United States to live, and that it took Trump’s Operation Legend to step in and do the legwork. With the additional resources, authorities were able to track down an illegal alien who they believe shot and killed his wife.
“Help arrived when President Trump launched Operation Legend in July of this year,” Vigil said. “Almost immediately, the FBI took over Jackie’s case. In a matter of days, they arrested four men. The fifth, the suspected killer, is in a Texas jail on unrelated charges. He is an illegal alien with a criminal record. He had been deported in September and had come back in October to terrorize our community.”
The suspect, Luis Talamantes, had been deported three times. It disproves the Democrats’ claims that illegal aliens don’t pose a threat to the United States and that there is no need for a wall and additional border security.
Talamantes has previously been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, as well as firing a firearm from a moving vehicle. He has been illegally present, leaving and re-entering the country and committing crimes, since 2008.
