911 Call Released From Bob Saget’s Death

(FiveNation.com)- Law enforcement just released the audio of a 911 call from the hotel in Florida where comic Bob Saget was discovered unresponsive in his hotel bed over the weekend. The tragic call reveals how a hotel member of staff called the emergency services to reveal that Saget, a guest of the hotel, had been found unresponsive in his room with no pulse.

The call, which was made public by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, reveals how the member of hotel staff told officers:

“We have a…we have an unresponsive guest in a room. My officer told me that he…that there is no pulse and the…”

When the agent on the phone asked if Saget was not responsive or breathing, the member of the hotel staff said, “Yes, unresponsive, not breathing and no pulse.”

A report was also released by the sheriff’s office on Monday about the investigation into Saget’s death. It revealed how Saget was expected to check out of the hotel on Sunday, but members of his family were unable to reach him via phone, prompting them to contact the Ritz-Carlton hotel where he was saying to perform a welfare check on him. That’s, sadly, how his body was discovered.

WESH-TV reported that when security entered Saget’s room, they found the lights switched off and the contents of the room spread out in a “disorderly” way. Saget’s left arm was lay on his chest and his right arm was resting on the bed. There was no indication that he had experienced trauma. He was described as looking “yellow and clammy” and “cold to the touch.”

According to the Chief Medical Examiner for Osceola and Orange countries, Dr. Joshua Stephany, an autopsy revealed that 65-year-old Saget did not appear to be under the influence of drugs and there did not appear to be any “foul play.” An autopsy will taker up to 12 weeks to complete to determine the cause of death.
